Rzeszow's Wislokostrada early completion possible

<p>The construction of the Wisłokostrada in Rzeszów is progressing according to plan, and there is even a possibility of completing the project ahead of schedule. The investment aims to connect al. Rejtana with ul. gen. Maczka, which will facilitate access from the southern part of the city to the S19 expressway and relieve traffic in the city center.</p><p>Work on key sections is advanced:</p><p><strong>Załęski Bridge:</strong> The installation of supporting beams has been completed, the bridge deck slabs have been concreted, and a protective surface layer has been laid. The bridge may be ready as early as the first half of 2025, and it is likely that it will be opened to residents then.</p><p><strong>Bridge on the Młynówka River</strong>: Finishing works are underway, including the preparation of the wearing surface layer and the reinforcement of slopes. Safety elements are also being installed.</p><p><strong>Viaduct:</strong> Piling works have been carried out under 14 of the 16 supports, 14 of the 16 support foundation benches have been concreted, and 22 of the 24 posts under the pillars have been concreted. Formwork and reinforcement works are underway on the right carriageway.</p><p><strong>Section from Lwowska Street to the bridge on the Młynówka River:</strong> An asphalt base has been made for a length of 400 m.</p><p>The investment is scheduled to be completed in May 2026, but officials do not rule out that it will be completed earlier. The value of the investment is PLN 184.4 million, of which PLN 65.0 million comes from the Government Fund Polish Order: Strategic Investment Program, and PLN 30 million from the Government Road Development Fund.
